Patio black spot is a form of microscopic lichen that is carried from the leaves of trees and plants and into the pores of your paving by the wind and rain.

Once it has entered your paving it will grow and spread dulling the appearance of the stone and causing unsightly blotches and because the lichen is living inside the stone unfortunately it is impossible to remove by pressure washing alone.
